me

Welcome to my world -- the cyber portion of it, at least!

Unless you are a friend of mine, you are probably wondering, "Who is this person and why doesn't she just have a MySpace like everyone else on the planet?"

To answer the first question, I'm an ailurophile, fashionista, photographer, karaoke singer, teacher, graduate student, and general artsy type who lives in sunny southern California with my wonderful cats. In my spare time, I volunteer for various causes I believe in, read, spend time with my friends, skate on ice, take photographs, travel, and of course, tool around on the internet.  I also collect vintage china, am madly proud to be part of the Trojan Family, and wear stilettos like some people wear sneakers. My missions in life are to bring happiness to others, help young people achieve their goals and dreams, and to have some great stories to share when I'm in the rest home.

To answer the second question, anyone can have a MySpace. Not just anyone can have a spinning-head.com. :)

This website is an ongoing project. I've had various incarnations of it floating around cyberspace since 1996, when a friend introduced me to the wonderful world of html. The first version was horrible. Thankfully, it evolved over time, and now it's an assortment of bits and bobs about my hobbies and the places I go. Updates tend to come more frequently during the summer, when I actually have time to sit down and think about doing something different with the site.

Enjoy your time here... :)
